About Me

My name is Steve Vaughan, PGA Director of instruction at The Crossings at Carlsbad.

I gave my first golf lesson 30 years ago and have been teaching full time for the past 20 years. Helping people improve their golf games is not just my job, it's my passion. To be good at anything you must put in the the time and effort. I have put in that time and effort to become the best instructor I can be.

My goal with every student is to get them to focus on the particular part of there swing that will produce better results in the short term, but more importantly in the long term. Every student has their own potential, and I do everything I can to help each student realize that potential.

There is so much information available to people trying to improve their game - it can be overwhelming. You do not need to know everything I know about the golf swing, but you do need to know what is most important to your swing.

I look forward to helping improve your golf game and having more fun - which is the most important thing!
